What went wrong ?
During first team leader briefing of 2025 HG Worlds, two votes happened, both concluding in favor:
- The first one in order to use barometric altitude instead of GPS altitude.
- The second one to modify and complexify the penalty calculation for buffer infringement around airspaces.
These topics are not to be discussed here, they are mentioned as examples of wrong practice.

What would you propose ?
Discussions about such topics do happen in CIVL WGs and are voted by CIVL plenary. In case a revision or an improvement are needed, the discussions and vote shall occur in the same places.
Additionnally, a clarification is needed for each of Section 7 rules if they can be modified:
- by the local rules
- by the team leaders in case of CAT1 events
